We organised a Chalet BBQ on 22-24/8/08. We were very excited for this chalet, Xueni, Eve and me have been planning for this chalet since last month. This chalet came in mind when Xueni mentioned that she has a $100 NTUC Chalet voucher. We decided to organise a class gathering then, everyone has to pay a fees to fund the BBQ food, but despite the fees, the attendance was great!
The weather was not so good on these days, it has been raining for days. But the rain didn't ruin our BBQ mood, we BBQ in the rain and still having fun. After the BBQ, we went back to the room to play games, drink and Lucky Draw session.
Thanks Benny for providing seafood for the BBQ. There's prawn, Lala, squids and sting rays. All were well marinated. Very nice!!
Thanks mum for the marinated chicken wings, all of them loves it.
We look forward for our next gathering, most probably on Ms teo's return.
I hand made some clay work as door gifts to friends attending the chalet on 24 Aug 2008. Inspired by the best selling accesories hanger sold at the gift shops at almost all shopping malls, I spent about 2 weeks to make these dolls using ceramic clay and wires. These dolls were taken before the lequor spray and they are very fragile. I need to take extra care and tedious when doing the wrapping them up and delivering them to the chalet. These were only some of them as the others were out at the hall to dry.
I hope they will like it.

080808. A very auspicious day. Beijing's Olympic, Tripple 8 'Fatt Fatt Fatt'. It's the arrival of our baby nephew Ian to this wonderful world. Baby Ian's predicted labour day should be 12.8.08, but he seems to prefer this date for his arrival.
His weigh 3705. He is sooo cute... that we kept pich his little cheeks and he'll just sleep soundly... all of us think that he looks just like my sister, especially his little eyes and big nose.
Happy Birthday Little Ian, wish you grow up fast and healthy.
