No photos for this post because I'm dead beat for my duty at our company's warehouse sales. We were required to be on duty for one day at our biggest warehouse sales at our office doorsteps. This was my first time working in warehouse sales, thus I was worried, but almost all of our colleuges in the department were also invloved in the sales, so my worried reduced, I just told myself to take it easy. I was on duty on Thursday-the first day of sales. I was stationed at men's sports footwear.
My duty was to help customers retrieve their desired shoe size/design/price as well as arrange the shoes in order. There was a large customer flow on the first day. The cashier queue was so long that it blocked my footwear area. I worked non-stop, the customers keeps coming and I have to serve all the customers like octopus. As I'm not in the Sales line, serving more than one customer at a time is a headache job for me as I need to memorise customers' requests and retrieve their shoes at a time, but I was trying my best to serve them well.
At the end of the day I found both of my knees were all sore and painful, they hurts whenever I squated up and down everytime. After closing, we still need to pack and replenish the stocks for next day's sales. We were asked to work till 8.30pm but we ended up finished at 9.30pm. We were all bushed and were dragging our feet after duty.
This was really an experience for me as a sales person for one day. It's quite a fresh thing and I get excited about it. I felt tired in the outside but I felt full in the inside. Maybe it's only a one-time basis and it'll be a different story if I'm working for everyday. My face will be pulling longer and longer...Haha..
On the next day, I went to the sales and bought myself a NIKE sports shoes.
